Since 1997 the XR Owners Club has continued to improve and increasingly use the web site as an information point to aid members throughout the country. The site has a range of facilities allowing members to interact and share ideas/problems. The following are just some of the many benefits and services which the Club Web Site provides exclusively for members' enjoyment:



Club Magazine 'XTRA'

As a member, you will have access to downloading the current and previous issues of the XTRA Club Magazine five times a year. It is packed with interesting news, technical articles, branch reports, competitions and other members' letters, comments, photo's, feature cars and technical points.




Previous Magazines

At XROC Headquarters we realise that it is not always possible to keep back issues of Xtra magazines. However what we have enabled the members to do is to access our computer archives of the Xtra magazines in digital format so that these can be downloaded and printed off as required.




Technical Help Service

If you have a problem with your car which you don't know how to fix, just connect to our 'Useful Contacts' area. Where our technical help section will have contact details of one of our technical help people who will will be happy to help, or if they don't know the answer they will be able to give you contact details of someone who will.



Motoring Discounts

This area highlights special motoring discounts that are available at the time, such as discounts with RAC, GAP security etc. which we at HQ have highlighted as real potential savings to general XR members.




Club Insurance Scheme

Over the last fifteen years, the XR Owners Club has forged a unique relationship with certain Specialist Insurance Companies. As a member you may well benefit from 'limited mileage' or 'agreed value' policies designed exclusively for the more discerning XR Owner.




Dealer Discounts

On behalf of its members, the Club has negotiated rates with a number of dealer discounts. This can be as much as 25% depending upon the item in question. An on-line database keeps an up-to-date list of the dealers participating in this scheme.




Driver Profiles

These are features on members and their cars. The articles identify the history of the cars and the members through to the cars specification and how they may have modified the car to better suit them. Giving useful information to you, with lots of helpful ideas and tips.




XR merchandise

One of the special privileges the club has to offer is access to the many items of XROC merchandise available on-line. This selection is constantly being updated and special offers are advertised in 'Xtra'




Events

Major events are posted on the Events Listing. These are updated throughout the year as and when new events appear in the show calendar.




Links of Interest

Since the launch of our first web site back in 1997 we have been contacted by a number of other motoring web sites that we feel would be of interest to the XR enthusiast. We have therefore take a selection of these and provided the necessary links from the members area.




Technical Specification Sheets

These Specification Sheets are available to download through the Members Area. Each sheet highlights the specification of that model as it left the factory. Plus additional specification such as Unleaded Suitability have been added.




Modified XRs

This section highlights articles on maintaining and modifying XRs using the knowledge of other enthusiastic members. The intention is not just one of interest to you the member, but also inspiration to modify your car to your own requirements and needs.




Part Facility

As XRs slowly become classics it becomes increasingly difficult to find good quality standard parts for your treasured XR. The club has sourced many good quality part suppliers most of which offer exclusive discounts to XROC members. Included in this section is advice on obtaining these parts plus the necessary contacts.




Hints & Tips

This section includes articles with regards to maintaining your XR and keeping it in true, classic order. Hints and Tips have been picked up and used from other knowledgeable enthusiastic members.
